About Department

BBA/ BBA(CA)department was established in 2006 and engaged in offering computer related technical skills and knowledge about business administration to students especially weekend sectioned of society.  Department run two degree programme affiliated to Savitribai Phule, Pune University.

Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning -

Examinations are conducted as per the university guidelines. Internal marks systems are developed at department level in the form of two prelims. Assignments and Class tests are conducted at department level. Collage has been providing campus, Industrial implanting project for students studding in last years.

ICT in Teaching

College provide well equipped computer lab, LCD projectors for ICT enabled teaching. Teachers use various ICT tools such as PPT's , Vedio lectures etc.

Teaching aids like google classrooms,e-PGPathshala and Moodle are used in teaching.

 Laboratory Work  

1. Practical session is inherent part of syllabus of BBA(CA).
2. During practical, in charge explain the assignment and related concepts in around ten minutes using white board if required or by demonstrating practical on the software.

Co_curricular Activities

Every year Department organizes Open Mind Event which consist of Vyapar Manthan event to enhance entrepreneurship skills, programming competition to enhance technical skills and poster competition and ppt presentation on the specified topic to improve presentation skills and Quiz competition also.

In the year 2018, Our Department has organised "E-Literacy Program" for the Villagers in Yelghol village in which they taught them online banking, PAYTM, How to link adhar number and PAN number with bank account using Internet Banking etc. 

Our BBA students has participated in Paper bag making activity for Environment Sustainability and also conducted a safty workshop for workers in small scale industry on the occasion of National Safty Week.

Experiential Learning

As per curricular program of Savitribai Phule University Pune, BBA/ BBA (Computer Application) Program running under PDEA’S Prof. Ramkrishna More Arts, Commerce and Science college Akurdi, Pune include Industrial exposure (field Visit) subject for SYBBA course. Objective of designing this subject is to explore students to practical industrial field environment and developing skills of report writing.

Guest lectures are organized for experimental learning for students.

 Department conducts short term course  Tally ERP 9.0 and GST in collaboration with Success Institute of Technologies  from last two years .

 On completion of this course online exam is conducted and every student get certificate Certificate

 Feedback regarding this course is taken from every student  using Google Form and analysis of the feedback is done.

 Student Aceivement

Pratikshe Ingale representaed Savitribai Phule University and got 3rd rank in Skit  and 4th Rank in "Folk Dance"in "Interuniversity National Youth Festival"" at Chandigarh University in academic year 2018-19.

Pratikshe Ingale representated Savitribai Phule University in "Indradhanusha National Yuvak Mahotsav" in  academic year 2018-19.

Vishnu Tidke got 2nd Rank in PSI exam in Maharastra state.

Omkar Bhosale got 2nd rank in "C Programming" competition in MUCC college and Manoj Roundhal and Shubham Patil got 3rd rank in Poster competition at Modern college, Pune.

Avinash Ahirsinge and Sagar Mali got 3rd rank in University level Korfball.
